CALLERS DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE THEIR NAME!

Just call 1-888-577-1206 for toll free calls in western Washington or 1-360-577-1206 outside of Western Washington.  Locally you can call 577-1206.  You will reach a law enforcement agency that is taking the information for Crime Stoppers.  They will ask you some questions as they  fill out a Confidential Tips Line Questionnaire.  They will assign a number to your tip and ask you to give them a number or password so you can be identified with this tip.  You do not have to give them your name.

You will be asked the crime information that you are calling about.  They will want to know the suspects name, their description, address, what type of vehicle they drive, or whatever information you can give them to help them investigate this crime.

You will also be asked if you are interested in a reward and if you are willing to tell the officer who you are.  You are under no obligation to tell them your name.  Local law enforcement is in need of citizens who are willing to help solve crimes so they will be understanding of the fact you may wish to not tell your name.

After they have begun investigating the crime, you may call them, or they may publish on this website or in the paper when the crime is charged by the Prosecutor's Office.  You will need to contact them about the reward information and when it will be available.

You can be the eyes and ears for our local law agencies and help make Cowlitz County more safe for all of us to live in.
