| RYDERWOOD--Sometime over the weekend of May 19-20, 2007, an unknown person burned down a portable toilet at the �Wake Robin� Forest Learning Center for Children. Total loss is estimated at over $500. RYDERWOOD�the fire department in Ryderwood reported March 30, 2007, that sometime during the month, unknown persons entered the fire station and stole the following:
All items are marked on the left side with �Cowlitz Fire 4�. The items total value is over $2500. There was no sign of forced entry into the fire station. | LONGVIEW--Between 02-26-07 at 10:30pm and 02-27-07 at 07:30am,
unknown suspects broke into the Columbia Ford dealership business and stole
several items including two vehicles. One vehicle has been recovered but the
second vehicle is still missing. The missing vehicle is a grey 2006 Dodge
Charger four door. Columbia Ford is offering a $1000 reward for information
leading to the recovery of the vehicle and the prosecution of the suspect(s). Anyone with information about this burglary or the location of the stolen vehicle is asked to contact Detective Langlois at Longview Police Department at 360-442-5800, or CrimeStoppers at (360) 577-1206. KELSO--At 6 p.m. on Monday, January 29TH, an adult female had just finished shopping
at the Kelso Safeway when a male suspect stole the victim's purse from her
vehicle. The suspect ran a short distance to his parked, white passenger
car. The victim attempted to recover her purse by partially diving through
the open driver's side window. The victim was dislodged from the suspect
vehicle and suffered minor injuries. The suspect was wearing a white hooded
sweatshirt beneath a dark colored jacket with dark colored jeans. The
suspect was described as a white male in his twenties, approximately 5'10 to 6'0
tall, weighing 150-160 pounds, with dark colored hair. Anyone with
information is encouraged to call Detective Damon Blain at 423-1270, or

receive up to $1000 in cash.

KELSO--At 1 a.m. on Saturday January 20TH, an employee working the drive-thru window
at the Kelso Taco Bell was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect approached the
drive-thru window, pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded money.
The Taco Bell employee described the suspect as a black male in his thirties,
approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build and short, black curly hair.
The suspect was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with blue jeans and appeared
"dirty". Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Detective Berglund or
Detective Blain at the Kelso Police Department, or CrimeStoppers at

On August 9, 2003 at around 11:00pm an individual was robbed in the west lot of the Three Rivers Mall. The suspect was described as a white male 25-30 years of age, 180 lbs, 5'10" tall with very short brown hair. The suspect fled the scene by getting into a small dark colored pick-up driven by another accomplice. If you have any information regarding this crime, please contact CrimeStoppers at 577-1206. You do not have to give your name and can receive up to $1,000.00 cash reward. ******************************************************************************************************** During the night of June 9th and 10th, someone removed approximately 600 boards from a fence. The boards are 1X6 and six feet in length. They were stolen from the area of Nevada Drive and Westside Hwy. The boards vary in color from light to dark, as they were milled from creosoted log boom poles. These boards were stapled, not nailed on the top and bottom. They are not dove-tailed and are made of fir, rather than cedar. There were about fifteen 2X4 and ten 4X4 pieces taken as well.
